This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Picselica Ltd collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the Ocean Rift VR application and associated support services.

Ocean Rift (Data Usage & Privacy)

 

To provide core platform functionality and comply with Meta Horizon policies, Ocean Rift processes specific User Data on your Meta Quest device as outlined below:

• User ID: Ocean Rift requests User ID as required for the User Age Group platform feature, but does not use it for developer-side features. It is processed locally at runtime and never stored, transmitted, or shared.

• User Age Group: This data is processed to comply with Meta’s Mixed Age requirements (for users aged 10-12 and 13+) to ensure age-appropriate platform behavior on the Meta Quest.

How We Use and Process Data:

 

All User Data mentioned above is processed locally on your Meta Quest device at runtime and is not written to disk or persistent storage. Picselica Ltd does not store, transmit, or collect this data on our servers, nor is it shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Mechanism for Data Deletion:

Since User ID and User Age Group data are processed strictly at runtime on your Meta Quest device and are not stored on our servers, there is no persistent account data for us to delete. Users may remove any locally cached platform data by uninstalling the application. For the removal of any correspondence data (e.g., support emails), please contact OceanRiftVR@gmail.com and we will fulfill the request within 30 days.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

 

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

Removal of Your Personal Data

At any time and for any reason you may ask us to delete any personal information or messages we have received from you by emailing us with your request to OceanRiftVR@gmail.com. If you choose to remove your data it will be deleted from our records within 30 days.

 

Compliance with children's online privacy protection act

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
